original research and review articles spanning the full spectrum of the social and behavioral sciences and the
humanities. All articles are reviewed and vetted for their research methods and quality and accepted on that
basis only. By not restricting papers to a narrow discipline, SAGE Open facilitates the discovery of the connections
between papers, whether within or between disciplines. We are always interested in submissions from all areas of
